Project: New Car Park, Cranswick Foods, Wombwell
Cost: £506,828.74

PROJECT SCOPE

SGH Civil Engineering & Surfacing Contractors have completed this project on behalf of a nationwide food manufacturing company. The project comprised of transforming an unused piece of waste land into a full turnkey carpark. For this project, EPCG were required to complete a cut and fill exercise, install drainage, install kerbing, complete asphalt surfacing, land scaping and other miscellaneous items such as gates and fencing as per scheme drawings. The works were delivered at Cranswick Foods, Wombwell, which is a major manufacturing site just off the M1 motorway.

ADDED VALUE

The installation of EPCE’s proposed slot drain produced long-term benefits for the Client. A slot drain is a contained unit certified for all car park applications and allows unobstructed water flow. As such, the client saved on future maintenance costs as water jetting the system would not be required to clear blockages.
